As a field customer service representative, I work both in office and on the road. I answer phone calls, emails, and face to face customer concerns regarding billing, water consumption, and confidential account information for over 75,000 customers. In the field, I operate a company vehicle and travel across York and Adams Counties to obtain accurate readings, turn on, or turn off water for customer properties.
As Front Desk Supervisor, I oversaw guest reservations, stayover service, and guest accommodations in a friendly and welcoming manner. I supported front desk staff in daily operations and long term goals of increased revenue and positive reviews. I also acted as a concierge and offered local restaurants and entertainment suggestions for guests to enjoy.
In this position, I schedule lifeguard shifts, facilitate private pool party events, decorate for and execute all-member club themed pool BBQ's and oversee general pool operations. I trained new staff in both the pool and banquet departments and aided in set up and facilitation of member events.
As the Hospitality Intern, I was able to learn the daily operations of the Front Desk and Group Sales Departments. I was able to learn Spooky Nook's standard operating procedures for reservations, guest conflict resolution, group reservations, and check-in/checkout processes.
As the Hospitality Recreation Intern, I worked closely with the Directors and General Manager of the Country Club to oversee pool operations. I supervised and mentored a team of thirty lifeguards, created schedules, planned themed pool days for families, and planned swim lessons.
As a ski technician, I maintained a positive attitude in frontline interactions with guests. I calibrated ski and snowboard equipment to safely match their height, weight, and skill set. I also informed guests on proper fit and technique for using equipment.
As a server, I catered to banquets, private parties, and members during dinner service. I assisted with setup, shift preparation, and clean up after each shift. As a receptionist, I answered calls from members, placed reservations, input orders for takeout meals, and greeted members as they entered.
In the scheduler position, I was responsible for assigning around 40-70 lifeguards to their positions while adhering to many specific regulations for each position. I was also responsible for keeping track of clock in and clock out times, break times, minor labor laws, paperwork, and attendance infractions. As a supervisor, I oversaw multiple lead lifeguards and all lifeguards during operation of the park. I focused on rule enforcement, mentoring, managing guest issues, guard behavior, and running the park efficiently.
As a lifeguard, my main focus was safety of the patrons in the water park. I enforced rules and safety regulations, monitor guest behavior, and performed assists, rescues, and other life-saving procedures to guests. As a lead lifeguard I maintained all of these skills while working as a mentor for other lifeguards. I assisted in lifeguard skill training, deescalated guest conflicts, and coached lifeguards on behavior.
